if you've noticed, i've been gone a week. why you ask? bc this past week was worse than finals - totally stressful. but i think i'm calm now. so here i go again w/my boring recaps - but this one will be quite long. :)
saturday - really needed to start my calculus, so i headed to leonard's w/tiffany. in the middle i ran to the mall w/heather - she had formal and took me along for hair advice. tiff and i got really distracted and started watching you've got mail. we went back to the dorm though, realizing we weren't doing anything, but then left again to go see 13 going on 30. for those of you who know me, you know that i like chick flicks sometimes, but most of the time they get on my nerves, BIG TIME, and i'll end up not liking it. however, i liked this one a lot - it was still corny and predictable, but the story was different and it was just cute. after that was bed time, since we both had an early wake up call for curch.
sunday - sang at austin ave. umc. wasn't the greatest performance, bc eric the pianist wasn't there, and the lady had just gotten some of our music that morning. but i enjoyed going to church. after that, me, tiff and amanda went to la fiesta, mmmmmmmm, to eat. coming back, i had every intention of studying, but i fell asleep for 2 hrs. oops! i know i studied after that, but i don't know what else so i'll move on. oh! i had a business mtg. eh.
monday - i was freaking pissed, bc our destinos test got cancelled by vote of class. why would you want to put something off for another week, that you just watched sunday night and are prepared for today? isn't that just making it harder on yourself, giving you more work, when you have to review AGAIN a week later? UGH. so i was little peeved by that. i took my calc test, feeling not so good about it, but ended up getting a 103 i think :D i studied a little, prepared by expo stuff, then had our last business mtg :tear: where we tried to make a presentation board. wow it looked so embarassing after finishing it - we gave it to stephen to redo. after that i went to memorial w/jeff to study, but he wouldn't let me :(
tuesday - went to business and holy crap the edward jones rep was an asshole and scared the shit out of me and a lot of other people with his expo "tips". the other speaker we had was hot though - looked like ralph fiennes in maid in manhattan. after business i tried to study for my spanish oral, but i couldn't concentrate and felt like we got too much material in too little time (she gave it to us yesterday). i ended up almost running to her office bc i thought i was going to be late, but wasn't - and waited 30 minutes for the group in front of me to finish - that's ridiculous. plus, britni didn't show up bc she was sick, so i went alone. i did horrible, but she cut me so much slack bc i had to wait a long time and she likes me. i rushed back to the dorm to change for the expo. i was so freaking nervous all day - i thought i was going to throw up and have a heart attack. we got there - everyone looked nice in their suits. there was some mixup w/our plans and grading sheets, bc there were two other companies with the same name there, so we waited over and hour and a half for our first judge, but after that they just kept coming. we ended up only having 4 instead of 5, bc 2 didn't show up - one they got a sit-in for, bc the plan was sent back, but the other one didn't send the plan, so they couldn't have a sit-in. we didnt leave till about 6:30, after getting there at 3. it was the most exhausting thing ever. so what did i do afterwards? fall asleep. and should i have? NO.
wednesday - rickey and i went to the awards ceremony and our business group got an honorable mention!!!!!!!! it was so exciting to hear them call our name out, bc we didn't know how well we'd do. we don't get money like 1st, 2nd, and 3rd does, but it's still cool! plus it's good for our resumes and we get a certificate :D i spent the rest of the day with jeff. went to lunch, went to class, went to the library to study, to his theatre lecture, back the library, penland, library - and then for the rest of the night it was in the library, moving like 100 times, to study for business. he's never studied before for it, so i helped him. i didn't get back till almost 3 am.
thursday - was supposed to wake up at 7 to study - yeah didn't happen. woke up at 9, hurried got ready and reviewed stuff, then went to the 9:30 test. i have no freaking idea how i did. i better at least have gotten a 70 or i'm gonna shit a brick. after that i hurriedly studied for my spanish test, which was hard as hell and took FOREVER. lots of drama has been happening in that class lately - especially when my prof came in bawling friday - but that's a long story, and not enough blog space to write about it. after that was done, i tried to start my econ studying - but of course that kept getting put off since i was so burnt out on studying, so i was up till 3 again. crazy i tell you. i did take a friends break, and i'm totally gonna bawl my eyes out this thursday.
friday - took the econ test. i know i at least got a 52! went to spanish - DRAMA. after that i had to drive to richland to register in person for my stupid english class. it's so retarded having to register in person, when all they have to do is look at your transcript and clear a hold so you can do it on the internet. UGH. anyway - i had dinner w/my dad so that was a plus. i drove back to waco, saw 13 going on 30 again with leah, then went to leonard's. next door there was a party - but it was waaaay too crowded. plus it started pouring sheets of rain, so we ended up just staying there and playing xbox. i learned how to play this halo game that the boys obsess over here.
saturday - lunch, mall and laundry with jeff. then i went to austin with him and ben. interesting let me tell you. i had a lot of fun though. we didn't get back here till 5 this morning which bring us to now!
me and jeff went and ate chinese, and now we are in the library, SUPPOSED to be studying, but of course we checked out laptops and now we're just on aim and i'm writing this blog. oh we are such procrastinators!!! this has to be the longest, most boring blog known to man. so bye!
